Our Story
Our story started over ten years ago in a little beach town in San Diego, CA. We soon became fast friends, bonding over our love of music, craft beer, and cooking. We started playing guitar together and quickly formed a band called Curtsy and the Tin Man, which led to small gigs at local bars in Southern California. Our love for music blossomed into love for each other and we soon got married in 2016.
While both working in the craft beer industry, we dreamed of one day opening our own restaurant. In our spare time, we cooked for ourselves and entertained friends and family, having tons of fun trying out new recipes and techniques.
Fast forward to 2024, after two more moves, two beautiful children, a 20 lb cat, an adorable French bulldog, a career change, and a corporate layoff, Curtsy’s Café & Burger Bar was born. Our dream had finally come true.
